I am reading Slaugherhouse 5 this month for book club, not to be confused with Slaughterhouse, which I accidently purchased and returned after opening the cover to horrifying pictures of cows laying in their own puddles of blood!! It’s a short book, but such a good read. I’m anxious to finish because I have literally 5 more waiting for me! I love how I reserve books at the library expecting them to come like 3 weeks later, and when I receive a notification e-mail that same week, it feels like Christmas all over again! These public libraries have really been on top of it lately!
I have to admit, I am a little excited about my last 2 days at work!! I will miss Kendi a lot, in fact, Kendi is ALL that I will miss. Pretty sure she’s the best and only great thing about that job. 🙂
How the clock magically ticks to 11:00 p.m. when just 2 minutes ago it was 7:00 p.m. is beyond me. The invisible clock elves really need to cut back on their overtime hours.
